Store front window, Autumn 2011 (Detail of chalkboard signage.) The wine-making store always gets customers asking how wine is made at the store. Simple, easy how-to steps and various materials shows that making wine is fast and easy. Smaller chalkboards are also scattered throughout the window.
Store front window, Summer 2011 Muskoka chairs replace the vintage bicycle, that the owner needed to get around the city with the arrival of summer.
Store front window, Spring 2011 For a winemaking store in the beaches. The owners wanted to get passers buyers thinking about making their wine for the summer. A summer cottage get-away with wine, of course. 
Store front window, Christmas 2010 Front window display for a wine-making store. 36" fabric covered circles that imitate holiday ornaments with machine-stitched letters on the front and back of the circles. 
A green and white wedding My sister got married in late summer last year. She choose a palette of different shades of sage green and white and wanted circles. She's makes the most creative cakes for all occasions and wanted to make sphere cakes for her wedding. The heritage house was a series of three joining but seperate rooms. Each room had it's own focal point so that guests could meander and socialize. This is the view of the room from the outside with the gift table. My sister found a bundle of paper lanterns and her husband wanted to have wheatgrass as the centerpieces, so with some basics, all the other decor ideas came together easily. It was great to be able to work with my sister from start to finish to build on her ideas for her special day. 
styling It was all about the shoes.... Here we are styling some pictures for the photo shoot. More art direction from the photo shoot can be seen here. Locations were scouted afew days before. A monogram welcome sign was made to greet the guests at the front of the reception rooms
Gift table Guests were invited to write a few words of wisdom or warm wishes for the couple and hang it from the wish tree. A grass-lined bird cage collects all weddings cards. Garlands made from various shades of circles sewn together were also hung from the ceiling. 
Sweet Table Decor Fabric Garlands were sewn in the matching shade with a banner template from Martha Stewart. More sweet table pictures can be seen here.
